YI Denver Legacy Society

Young Israel of Denver is a true community, a friendly and welcoming environment that is dedicated to enhancing Jewish life and giving all members of our community a meaningful Jewish experience. We encourage individual growth in learning, prayer, and connections to our fellow Jews. Diversity of thought, background, and observance are some of our greatest strengths and our members strive to appreciate and honor their fellow members, resulting in mutual understanding and the potential for each member to evolve Jewishly. Our children’s Jewish education is a founding reason for our existence and our members with young kids find those bonds strengthen the commitment to our members and our shul.

Our Legacy Society, committed members just like you, are devoted to ensuring the continued vitality and growth of YI Denver's spiritual, educational and social offerings far into the future. Please consider including YI Denver in your will, trust, retirement account or life insurance policy. Please join us by filling out the Declaration of Commitment form.

"We wanted to leave a legacy gift to the shul because we felt it important to give back to an institution that has supported our family for many years. It's so easy to set up! Please join us in supporting this worthwhile effort to perpetuate the the great work the shul does for generations to come."

                                                          Graeme and Irit Bean

"We are glad that easily adding the shul's Legacy Society to our wills let us do something more significant to help the congregation that is so central to our lives."

                                                                                                                                           Steve and Ellyn Hutt

'DAT Minyan is central to our lives. We found a home in this community the minute we moved back to Denver and are forever grateful. It's important to us that this place is around for our children and for generations to come, which is why it was so easy for us to add DAT Minyan to our will and become members of the legacy society, thus ensuring the future of the DAT Minyan."

                                                   Mark and Sarah Raphaely

"We became Legacy Society members because the DAT Minyan has helped create a legacy for four generations of our family. Our mothers loved the shul and the shul loved them back. We came to the DAT Minyan for them, and stayed because of how welcoming the community has been for us. Our kids are now part of the shul community, as are their kids. Four generations. Adding the DAT Minyan to our wills was easy, and we're proud to feel a part of the ongoing mission of our shul."
